The Connecticut Gay and Lesbian Film Festival is noteworthy at Trinity College in Hartford. The gay scene in Stamford is not all the bad- its not Chicago- but then again the distance to NYC is less then an hour- so while Connecticut is sedate is some ways- it still offers many gay and lesbian social organizations beyond the club scene. Is that right? As much as I love the job, I'm a little worried about moving to CT from Chicago if there isn't much in the way of a social scene.
From various on-line sources, looks like CT is a great place to live, but it looks like there is not much in the way of a gay single scene. I just got a great job offer in Stamford, CT.
